Design and development capabilities: Automotive and Non-Automotive

The task of the design team is usually split into three main aspects: exterior design, interior design, and color and trim design. Graphic design is also an aspect of automotive design; this is generally shared amongst the design team as the lead designer sees fit. The design focuses not only on the isolated outer shape of automobile parts, but concentrates on the combination of form and function, starting from the vehicle package.

The core objective of Sruham Enginreering is to indigenously develop and build best in class Electric and Hybrid electric vehicles, Bullet and blast resistant vehicles, Special purpose vehicles and caravans in India with a motto world class technology at affordable cost

Design Capabilities:

automotive industry, all those companies and activities involved in the manufacture of motor vehicles, including most components, such as engines and bodies, but excluding tires, batteries, and fuel. The industry’s principal products are passenger automobiles and light trucks, including pickups, vans, and sport utility vehicles. Commercial vehicles (i.e., delivery trucks and large transport trucks, often called semis), though important to the industry, are secondary. The design of modern automotive vehicles is discussed in the articles automobile, truck, bus, and motorcycle; automotive engines are described in gasoline engine and diesel engine. The development of the automobile is covered in transportation, history of: The rise of the automobile.

Design Capabilities:

  • New product design for exteriors & interiors
  • Design of BIW parts
  • Design of powertrain
  • Design of chassis (Conventional, Integral & semi-integral) & frames

Design Considerations:

  • Part / assembly should be as light as possible
  • Should have minimum number of components
  • Should with stand vibrations while in motion
  • Should be cheap & easy to manufacture
  • Should have long fatigue life
  • Load must be uniformly distributed
  • Should offer minimum resistance to air
  • Should look good aesthetically & attractive in color
  • Should fulfill the standards mentioned by OEM’s
