The training was organized on January 29, 2021 in an online mode. The training was conducted by Mr. S C Mishra (Faculty XLRI). Mr. Mishra focused on points like TQM concept and its important features, Daily Management and Quality Control, Policy Management and Quality Improvement, Business Excellence Model. The training was nomination based and 33 professionals from JCAPCPL & ISWP participated in the training.

The training was organised specially for Tata Health workers largely from the Pharmacy department. The two-day training was organised from December 29-30, 2020 at United Club, Jamshedpur. The training was carried by Prof Durga Pathak (Faculty XLRI, TMDC) and Mr Vinay Nand Pandey (Faculty XLRI, TMDC). 22 professionals were benefitted from the initiative. The main objective of programme was to enable participants to understand the concepts of Customer Focus Communicating with Customers: Active Listening, Telephone manner, External and Internal customers and apply them to enhance Customer Satisfaction and Delight, Competency Assessment was done for analyzing empathy and Interpersonal Skills for all the participants which would also equip them with the necessary tools of Stress Management.

Jamshedpur Management Association has resumed its popular T.E.A Talk Series for 2021, this time in virtual mode. It is a platform to showcase the experiences of outstanding speakers from diversified institutions. The first session in the series, organised on 25 January, 2021, was with Dr. Bhimaraya Metri (Director, IIM Nagpur) on the topic “Competency to Capability: The New Talent Strategy”. This session was organised on a virtual platform. Dr. Metri mentioned that today the time has come to build smart workforce- it means preparing India for emerging business models. He also told that present time is a transition era in which we are moving from Industrial era to Intelligence era. In this era important 3 ’R’s of business are 1. Reimagining, 2. Redesigning, 3. Rebuilding. 45 professionals attended the session. Mr. Tarun Daga (MD, TSUIL & VP, JMA) & Mr. Amitabh Bhattcharjee (Hony. Secretary, JMA) welcomed the speaker.

JMA in collaboration with NGO Drive safe and Smart, D2S and Hella India Lighting Ltd organised micro training in Road Safety Campaign “Doori hai Jaroori”on October 28, 2020. It was a volunteer led micro training project which aims to enrol million road users, drivers via digital/online video/audio platforms towards #TrafficDistancing. The objective of the campaign was to positively enforce behavioural change in existing as well as future drivers so that they maintain distance from other vehicles on the road and eventually lead them to a defensive driving habit. The campaign DooriHaiZaroori aims to target anyone who drives to learn benefits of maintaining distance on roads. Those who attended the training were encouraged to be the #AgentOfChange and spread awareness in their friends, families and also to their neighbours, by becoming trainer themselves. Mr Anubrata Choudhury, Head of sustainability at D2S conducted the training. The session was attended by 66 professionals who had registered in advance. Mr Ramashankar Pandey President, CWC – D2S, Managing Director – Hella India Lighting Ltd. also attended the session and answered the queries of participants.
